Another school year brings us an exciting bunch of young students new to school life.

In Nest 1 we have been busy introducing our students to the spaces and routines that are part of school life. We spend a lot of time building relationships with class staff and our peers so that school is a warm and trusting place. There is lots to keep us busy with both work and play.

One of our important goals is finding out what makes each of our pupils unique. School can't be a comfortable place unless you have your needs, wants and preferences understood and met. So we enjoy a lot of sensory play and exploration-recognising along the way those items and experiences that are unique to making each individual happy in themselves. Being new to school is a big deal with new expectations, we are proud of the big steps our class are taking this term.
