We are so lucky to have outside professionals who come in and work alongside us.

In Room 15 we welcome specialists who come into our class each week to offer support and expertise. Virginia from BLENNZ (Blind and Low Vision Education Network NZ) and Tina from Ko Taku Reo (formally van Asch Deaf Education Centre) are two of our valued visitors.

These awesome professionals work alongside students and staff to contribute resources, individualised reports, curriculum supports, trouble shooting, modelling of techniques and advice. Their visits enable our students to build on their skills in these areas and access the curriculum in the most meaningful ways. 

We really appreciate having Virginia and Tina come and work alongside us.
