Rauawa have been loving getting back out into the community for our class outings.

We have had the chance to get back into gymnastics, swimming and our Friday van outings.

Some students have started with going to gymnastics this term while the others are enjoying swimming at the Burwood Pools. Next term the students will get a chance to swap over.

It was great this Friday to get almost the whole class out and about. Transitioning to and from the van and practicing how we travel with the class in the school vans has been a focus. Some students got to stop in at Mandeville Playground and enjoy the sun.

One of our big goals for Hub 4 this term has been around transitioning to and from different places or activities. For some this can be a challenge, but it has been wonderful to see progress being made in this area. Having our outings back up and running is another great way we can practice this.
