Tina Harrison and Nikohl Upton from Ko Taku Reo are visiting Pītau-Allenvale School each week to support the learning of a number of our students.

At Pītau-Allenvale our students are supported by a wonderful group of teachers and teaching assistants experienced in special education. We also have a number of specialists based in our school, speech language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and a psychologist. Further support for the education of our students is provided by outside agencies. This year Tina and Nikohl from Ko Taku Reo - Deaf Education NZ, will be supporting a number of students and staff with resources, ideas, and hearing equipment care. The combined knowledge of everyone involved ensures our students receive a high level of support.
