The Power of Movement: Physical Exercise in Hiwi
Hiwi students love to move! Physical exercise is a valuable tool for regulating emotions and promoting overall well-being for our students.
Hiwi students participate in physical activity frequently throughout the school day. Some students are going to the Christchurch School of Gymnastics and horse riding. All students are involved in daily exercise in different spaces at school. Water play, biking, swinging, yoga, dance, hula hooping, and gentle movement improve students' mood and also reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
