Each term the Hubs focus on one of our school values, highlighting the skills and qualities we hope our students take on board.
Right now Kindness is everywhere, on the walls, in the activities, on the slideshows, artworks, stories and in the interactions all around us.
The skills we teach and demonstrate can be made specific to each Hub of children. In Taumanu one of the indicators for Kindness is-We can Share our Space.
It's an important thing to be able to do so that we can form friendships and have fun together.
Sharing space means being able to trust others and enjoy their company.
From beginning the year mostly interested in individual ways of playing, our students are now having a great time side by side. They are laughing, turn-taking and engaging each other in so many ways. It's an awesome way to zoom towards the end of the year.
