New kaiako in Hub 4

Kia ora koutou,

Ko Nick toku ingoa. My name is Nick, and I am originally from Singapore. I have taught in three special education schools in Singapore and worked as a learning assistant in a specialist school in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

In 2024, I decided to embark on the journey of becoming a teacher so I enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Primary) in the hopes of securing a teaching position, preferably in the special education field.

I am truly grateful that Pītau-Allenvale School has given me the opportunity to do what I love, and I am looking forward to working with the staff and students. In my free time, I enjoy relaxing on my couch, watching Netflix, going for walks, camping, playing football/soccer, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

I look forward to a great year ahead!
