Literacy at School with a Pītau Allenvale graduate

Hi, my name is Angus Gordon and I graduated from Pītau Allenvale School last year.

This year I am returning to Pītau Allenvale School to read to the younger students on Fridays.

On Friday mornings I go to Bishopdale Library to help the staff set up for Baby Times and to cancel books.

At the library I also get to read to the kids in the afternoon.

When I read I try to do different voices to make it interesting.

I also have been doing audiobooks using the app Book Creator to my Ipad. This allows the students to look at the pages while they hear me read.

I really enjoy reading to the students as its lots of fun to watch everyone enjoy the books.
