The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time!..And just like that another year has gone!
And just like that another year has gone!
Looking back through the year, we feel privileged to have seen your sons grow and mature as they have. It has brought us joy to see what good friends they have become and just how much their self-esteem, confidence, and resilience have developed.
Term 4 has been lots of fun for Hoiho. We have made the most of the nice weather by going on many outings into the community and have challenged ourselves physically when the opportunity arose with hill walks.
We also enjoyed several weeks of lawn bowls and athletics and have continued to swim throughout the year. Kiwiana and Christmas have been our class focus this term - The making of driftwood Christmas trees in particular was really enjoyable.
It has been fun sampling such delicacies as Jaffas and Hokey Pokey ice cream and other experiences that make Aotearoa the haven that it is.
While it is with pride and a little sadness, that we send our friends Nicholas and Lachlan off to Tētēkura to meet new challenges, it is with excitement that we welcome Dontae, Marcus, Henry, and their whanau to our class. Thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year. It has been greatly appreciated.Wishing you a restful summer and a happy Kirihimete.
Sue and Carol.
