We are holding the next session in our free PD for professionals on Monday 25 November. All welcome, registration link below.
When: Mon 25 November, 3.30-4.30pm

What: How do you set up a successful transition at the start/end of the day? (i.e. from taxi to class & vice versa). How do you set up a successful transition between activities? (e.g. from a preferred activity to non-preferred, from playground to class)
Discussion points:
Effective use of visuals, schedules and timers, predictable routines
How to reinforce/consolidate/celebrate desired responses
What is a transition object? Are these useful in our setting? What might effective usage look like?
What to do when nothing seems to be working?
