This a warm invite to all whanau to attend our 2022 Athletics Day on Friday 18th November. Please find important information about the day below.
- Yr0&Yr1 Athletics Display 1.30 pm - 3 pm
- Yr2-Yr8 Athletics Day 9.30 am - 3 pm
- Age Categories are sorted by the age of your child on the 1st of January 2022.
- Please ensure your child comes to school with a drink bottle filled with water and a sufficient lunch.
- Your child needs to come to school wearing their house colours with sensible running shoes. For some events, bare feet are allowed.
- Top competitors from each age group will go through to represent our school at the S.C athletics. We will endeavour to get these names out as quickly as we can.
- This year we are also excited to announce that discus will be an optional event. If your child would like to compete in this event, there will be a sign-up sheet sent around classes. This event will take place during lunchtime on Athletics day.
- At the completion of the day, we will be holding our final event of house relays. These will happen up and down the 100m track- 1 Boy and 1 Girl from each year group. Year 3/4, Year 5/6 and Year 7/8.
Timing of Events
