I am passionate about helping people to become successful, including students, colleagues and team mates. I love being a teacher and a coach, as this enables me to pass on my knowledge and experience to our future generations. 

I am a two time Olympian, having played nine years of Hockey for the New Zealand Blacksticks and I also played first class cricket for Canterbury for seven years. I am married to Jo and we have three young children, Ollie, Zoe and Noah.
