The students in Year 8 go to Wainui on the Akaroa Peninsula for their final camp.

The camp is designed to challenge the students to go outside their comfort zone and to experience new activities and, activities that challenge their personal qualities. The activities include the Giant Swing, Coasteering, High Ropes, Archery, Swimming in the Sea, Orienteering and Wide Games. It is also a great opportunity for them to be together as a group before they all go their separate ways the following year. When the students do their Year 8 book, this camp is almost always the highlight of their time at our school.
