After many failed attempts (thanks to covid) The Great Gatsby Ball finally went ahead last Saturday night!

The hall was looking incredible with silks adorning the walls, decorated tables and bar, a photo booth in the foyer (as well as a professional photographer for the night!), a piano player greeting guests as they walked in, and an amazing grazing table of food for all the attendees.

The band "Double Talk" was a huge hit getting people up on the dance floor from as soon as they started their first song until the very end of the night.

Everyone took the theme seriously and looked amazing dressed up in their best 1920's Gatsby costumes. Hinemoa Greenaway and Mark Cowie took out the prizes for best dressed of the night.

Not only was it a great night out but with the tickets, bar sales, sponsorships and silent auction we raised around $11,000 for the school!

None of this would have been possible without the incredible ball committee and all the volunteers, bar staff, security and courtesy coach drivers on the night who took the idea and created it into an event that was unforgettable.  A huge thank you to Deborah Jacobs, Pip McLeod, Kate King, Mandy Cartwright, Rachael Hewitson, Claire Speirs, & Ashlee Adams for your effort and countless hours that you have put into preparing this.  It is truly appreciated!
