In a world that is busy, stressful and sometimes confusing, the children in Team Māhuri (Years 1 - 4) love coming to school to discover, learn, connect with friends and teachers and have fun!

It has been a busy term for the children in Team Māhuri.  Teachers and children love coming each day into our safe school bubble, and learning, discovering new things, strengthening relationships and enjoying being with others.

Some of the topics we have been learning about are monarch caterpillars, bees, sowing seeds of kindness, mindfulness, nouns, verbs and adjectives, poetry writing, following instructions, open and closed syllables, different types of syllables, finger spelling, place value and lots of other amazing things.
