If you attended a CPD roadshow this year, you may have spotted Board Technical Advisor Brett McQuarrie making a cameo appearance in the Good Supervision video. When he's not starring in how-to videos, Brett is taking your calls at the Board.

Brett lives in Franz Josef and is a certifiying plumber, gasfitter and exempt drainlayer. He has worked in the industry for 30 years.

In his role as Technical Advisor, Brett advises practitioners, territorial authorities and the public. He gets professional satisfaction from providing help to those who contact the Board on the technical advisors help line.

Outside of work, Brett is passionate about his friends and family, getting outdoors, hunting and fishing, boating, the All Blacks, Formula 1 and the mighty Wahs.
