Renew your licence through the Trade login

Registered practitioners can renew their 2025/2026 licence today by logging into the PGDB app on Apple or Android or through the Trade login.
Once you have logged in, click on the licensing tile, and follow the process.

Fees
A schedule of licence fees is on the Board's website. Please note the prosecution levy of $70 is reinstated for the 2025/2026 licensing year, as announced in December 2024.

Complete CPD
Completion of the 2024 CPD course is a requirement when renewing your licence in 2025. 
The 2024 online CPD is available through your Trade login, and costs $35 to complete.
Please note that CPD is not available on the mobile app, you will need to access the Trade login through your internet browser for this course.

Changes to registration class names
The Board announced in November 2024 the following changes to registration class names from 1 April 2025:

• Journeyman Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers will become Restricted Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers

• Tradesman Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers will become Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers.

There is no change for Certifying Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers.
