When it comes to gas bottles, size does matter

We have received a lot of queries recently about the correct and compliant size of LPG gas bottles that are connected to installations such as residential homes and in particular tiny homes. A 9kg bottle will work great for a BBQ, but not so much for a house supply.

It is really important that gasfitters calculate the correct vaporisation output vs input ratings of the appliances connected to the supply. Failure to do this may result in damage to people or property. It could also mean that we may need to investigate the practitioner/certifier about the installation.
