An invitation to parents/guardians:

There will be a meeting for Parents/Guardians who have boys involved in the Year 10 Outdoor Camp programme, next Tuesday (24 October).

This meeting will give us the opportunity to pass on relevant information to you and give you the opportunity to ask us any questions that you may have.

We feel that this meeting is important for the smooth running of the activities. Often students do not have a full appreciation of the goals of the camps or of the equipment requirements.

Sometimes this information is passed on too late and it leaves you too little time to help them get their equipment requirements together.

Also, the teachers in charge of the activities may have specific information that they need to pass on to you and this is the easiest way for them to do that.

The meeting will be at 7.00 pm in the auditorium - Speirs Centre.

After a brief introduction, we will then be splitting up into the various camp activities so that you may discuss matters with the teacher in charge.

Once again, we encourage you to attend this meeting as it is an excellent opportunity for us to meet you and for you to take an active part in your son's education.

All parents are encouraged to approach Mr Miller by email or by written note, to request any items from the school’s equipment inventory. The school holds a plentiful supply of quality raincoats, tents, packs, and other items. This should be done before the junior examinations (Week 5).

Once again, we encourage you to attend this meeting as it is an excellent opportunity for us to meet you and for you to take an active part in your son's education.
