Congratulations to the PNBHS 1st XV who were the Hurricanes Schools champions for 2023.  At assembly recently we welcomed Mr Gordon Noble-Campbell, Chairperson of the Hurricanes Youth Rugby Council, who presented medals to the members of the 1st XV squad and the Cup to 1st XV captain Tom Illston-Park.  Of the 28 players who played for the 1st  XV during the season, 26 of them started at PNBHS in year 9, one joined the school in year 10 and one in Year 12.  Winning the Hurricanes Schools competition and going on to contest the 'top 4' national finals is a significant achievement and the young men, coaching and support staff should be very proud of their efforts throughout the season.
