We would love as many of our Cricketers from our wider community to be part of our celebration. Our association has so much history and so many stars, we have a lot to celebrate, much of this has now been captured in the book that will be launched at these celebrations - 125 Years of Manawatu Cricket written by Alec Astle and Murray Brown.

We are trying to reach out to as many Manawatu Cricket supporters, players, umpires, coaches or volunteers as we can and we would like to invite you to be part of the celebrations. PNBHS over the years has fielded a large majority of the cricketers that have passed through the Manawatu Cricket Association, we would love to see some of our Old Boys be part of this celebration.

Friday 22nd January: MCA Cocktail Reception at the Bruce Turner Pavilion, Fitzherbert Park. 5pm-7pm

This will also include the opening of the Vern Chettleburgh Scorers Box and our new McVicar Practice Nets. 

Saturday 23rd January: MCA 125th Celebration Dinner in the Marquee down on Fitzherbert Park, 5 pm - 9 pm. The dinner starts with an hour of drinks and nibbles provided by the MCA while we watch the last hour of the Manawatu Men’s day.

The Furlong Cup Manawatu v Hawkes Bay Game will be played at Fitzherbert Park on Saturday and Sunday, come along and enjoy the cricket.

Monday 25th January: MCA 125th Devonshire Tea call in and say farewell, enjoy a cuppa and a scone and watch our women play in their Shrimpton Trophy game. From 10:30 am.
