What a day! Our biggest field ever 31 Teams took to the Manawatu Golf Club greens for an awesome 18 holes of golf on Sunday

Excellent Golf from the Tom Hughes Real Estate Team saw them take out first place for 2024. it was a hotly contended tournament with some real golfing stars out there on the greens. Im sure they all had a great day.

The Manawatu Golf Club is a pleasure to play on and we are grateful that they allow us to use their course each year, as well as the course we are well looked after by The Pros in the Golf Shop and the team who cater for us and look after us at the end of the day. Thank you GM James Lovegrove for your help.

Bayleys Real Estate led by Rod Grieve took naming rights for the day, they are superb supporters of PNBHS they backed up their sponsorship with supplying very generous cups of Baileys on ice, served by the Bayleys girls on Hole No1. - Fantastic.

Before the play started for the day everyone enjoyed Hamburgers for lunch - many thanks to Justin Leck and McDonalds for supplying the buns and patties and Bill Foster for the salads and onions to fill them up!

Out on the course we again had the Mad Butcher Sponsored BBQ providing food to the golfers. 

The 18 Hole Sponsors make the day outstanding - thank you for your support, I mentioned the Baileys on Ice from Bayleys Real Estate on Hole No 1, Joel Yates from Beds are Us also treated the field with Banana Rum Shots on Hole No 9 from the Beds are Us Tent. With these treats along with the  refreshments from AFC Motorcycle Buggies that delivered liquid refreshments around the greens we are sure all 31 teams had a great afternoon at golf.

Sadly no one won the Hole in One prize, $500 which was to be donated by Champion Building Solutions.

We were very luck to have Golf Star, Mitchell Proctor on Hole No 1 offering Mulligans for the day, $5 for him to play your shot for you or you can replay that ball. Thank you Mitchell for your time and expertise for the day we really appreciate your input into our golf day.

Back in the Clubrooms for prize giving, thank you to all teams that helped out by supplying prizes that is fantastic. A huge Shout out to Sheridan Vinning and The Vinning Group for their amazing GPS Raffle prize, all the golf balls and tees in the goodie bags and extra team prizes we cannot thank you enough. 

Hunting and Fishing, Simon O'Connor  and Rangitikei Meats, Mark Gleeson again the contributions for The Raffle and team prizes is awesome and we cannot thank you enough.

We hope you all come back and join us again in 2025.
