The Junior 9 Rugby team saved their best until last, concluding their season with a 34 - 17 win over Freyberg High School.  This result lifted them to third place on the points table, unfortunately missing out on a place in the final by one point.  The final match was a true team performance with all players contributing.  the side raced out to an early lead, weathered a comeback from the bigger Freyberg side with a good defensive effort, before cementing the win with some well constructed team tries in the second half.
