Alongside the Clay Target Shooting team's success at the New Zealand Super Eight Schools' competition they were also the winners of the MacPhee Shield for the lower North Island secondary school circuit.  Individual achievements were also recognised:

Josh Bergerson was the winner of the Individual High Gun at the North Island Championships.  He was also the North Island Champion for Single Barrel and was the first boy in the Points Score.

Riley Hudson was named National Champion for the Points Score event.

Josh Lourie was selected in the North Island DTL team.
