Term 4, Week 5: Rāhina ǀ Monday 6 - Rātapu ǀ Sunday 12 Whiringa-ā-rangi ǀ November
Well done to all of our young men for their involvement in the Sports and Cultural Prizegiving and Senior Prizegiving on Wednesday. These were superb events and a fitting way to recognise the significant achievements and contributions of many young men in all aspects of school life. Progress and achievement in any endeavour requires hard work and determination and these young men are to be commended for their approach to school life. Good luck to our senior students as they begin NCEA examinations next week and to our junior students who are sitting their end-of-year school examinations.

Revision - NCEA and PNBHS Junior Examinations
It is essential that your son is doing everything he can to achieve to his potential in the upcoming NCEA and Junior School Examinations. Parents play an important role in supporting and encouraging their sons in this regard. Developing effective study skills is difficult in isolation and support to get started - everything from identifying an appropriate study space, creating a revision schedule and identifying appropriate strategies for different subjects and topics - are all aspects that parents can be involved with regardless of their knowledge of a particular subject. Further in this newsletter (or by clicking here) are a range of resources to assist; hopefully, the starting point for some important conversations and collaboration at home.
