Across all curriculum subjects we are looking for opportunities to emphasise our school values. As part of their Year 10 Social Studies programme young men are required to complete an assessment in which they research the involvement of a significant New Zealander in a 20th-century event. Part of the research task requires them to link their New Zealander’s activities to our school values. Recognising the values that guide other’s behaviour is a great way for young men to develop their character – as well as being a great conversation starter at home.
