Term 2, Week 2: Monday 1 - Sunday 7 May

PNBHS —

As we begin term two we have a focus on the school value of Tū Whakaaute Respect.  This can be shown in many ways, one of which is the Tū Whakaaute | Respect that our young men have shown in recognising the sacrifices made by previous generations of New Zealanders.  On Friday, April 21 nearly 100 young men volunteered their time to support the RSA through the annual Poppy Day appeal, 30 of our Prefects represented our school community at the Palmerston North Civic Anzac Service and yesterday we saw a very strong demonstartion of Tū Whakaaute | Respect with the outstanding manner in which our young men contributed to the PNBHS Anzac Service.

As the busy winter sports season gets underway we also hope to see Tū Whakaaute | Respect shown on the sportsfield and in the support from the sidelines.  Further information in this regard can be found in the Player's Code of Conduct and Supporter's Code of Conduct further in this Weekly Update.
