The PNBHS Shearing team of Henry Speedy, Jacob Bird, Oliver Bambry and Wills Madden, along with Wool Handlers Ben Goodwin and Johnny Fowler, competed in the Secondary Schools Shearing Competition at the New Zealand Rural Games in early March. This was a great opportunity to shear against some high-class competition from Feilding High School and Rathkeale College and to get some feedback from some legends of New Zealand shearing.
