Thanks to the Palmerston North Boys' High School PTA who have supported the PNBHS VEX Robotics club. "The equipment in the photo above is a basic classroom kit for making a robot. The one in the box below is the controller (playstation) together with the “brain” and some smart motors. This new V5 version is a major improvement on the earlier version which was slower and restrictive in the programming language that could be used. The V5 system is far more versatile. The second package contains the material needed to build a basic clawbot. Having the new V5 system for some of our teams has made us competitive again. With the assistance of the PTA we were able to purchase this equipment which will be given to the Year 9 team that is doing incredibly well at our local competitions."            Mr. Liengme, Teacher in charge of the PNBHS VEX Robotics club.
