Carson Harvey - Givealittle Page

PNBHS —

Please help Carson's family to fund his treatment which is not available in New Zealand.

PNBHS Year 12 student Carson Harvey has recently suffered a type of a rare brain bleed and spent over a week in the Wellington Hospital ICU unit.

He has been diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) which is very deep in the brain, and he needs risky Gamma Knife Surgery which is only available in London.

He requires two surgeries over a 3-month period and his family want to be there to support him during this difficult time.

The leading neurologist in Wellington, Mr. Reuben Johnson, has advised a bleed from the AVM is a risk to life in the worst case, or brain damage causing paralysis.

Carson used to play a lot of sports and have a part time job. Unfortunately, he is unable to do these things currently as he is not allowed to raise his blood pressure due to the risk of another brain bleed.

Carson's family would love to see him return to his normal life and would greatly appreciate any donation, big or small, and are so grateful for the support.
