Term 2, Week 9

PNBHS —

Our school Matariki celebrations were a real highlight of the last school week.

Well done to all of the young men and staff who were involved in our Matariki Fiafia night on Thursday, June 24.  Thank you to the large number of whānau who attended to support their sons and PNBHS.  The Matariki celebrations have certainly become a highlight of the school calendar.  Further information and photographs will be included in our July newsletter, which will be published at the end of this term.

Matariki 2021

Covid-19

The next 48 hours appear crucial in determining whether there is community Covid-19 transmission following the visit to Wellington of an infected traveller last weekend.  Should there be any change in Alert Levels we will communicate with you to explain the implications for school.

It is important that we continue to follow basic hygiene protocols - wash hands regularly, cover coughs and sneezes, stay home if unwell - as well as using the Covid Tracer app, so that we can keep our community safe.

National Volunteer Week 2021

This week is also National Volunteer Week 2021, an opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate the collective contribution of all volunteers who support PNBHS.  A huge thank you to all of the supporters of our school, as well as to our dedicated staff, who freely give their time to provide the wide range of co-curricular opportunities that are available to our young men. Thank you also to the growing number of young men who regularly volunteer their time to support a number of groups and activities in our school and wider community.
