On Thursday afternoon the Senior A Debating team won the final of the Manawatū Schools' Debating Competition.

The Senior A team of Ollie Gillespie, Blake Storrier and Lucas Grapes took on Whanganui Collegiate in the final of the Manawatū Schools' Debating competition, negating the moot 'This house would make social media companies liable for posted content.'  All three speakers for PNBHS were in excellent form and put up a series of strong arguments to convincingly win the debate.  Congratulations to Ollie Gillespie who was awarded best speaker.

This caps off a very successful year for the Senior A Debating team after their victory earlier in the New Zealand Super Eight Schools' Debating Competition.
