Doug Speedy 1993-1996
Doug is the Managing Director for the Parkers Beverage Company in Napier. His company are firmly focused on cans and glass for their range of beers, wines, juices and water, rather than plastic. Doug considers canned water is something of a final frontier for beverages, with Parkers the only company in New Zealand doing it. It is why Parkers canned wines are getting into the fridges at events instead of plastic bottles and its 10-litre bags of water in-boxes are becoming increasingly popular over large plastic bottles, he said.
