We were very sad to say goodbye to Mrs Deborah Kennedy, who has worked here in the library for 23 years in a part-time Library Assistant role. She has retired early and her knowledge of boys’ reading habits and the best books for teenagers will be missed!

In her place we welcome Mrs Ailene Davies, who comes to us with plenty of experience from the City Library and especially their Youth Zone!

Our new Student Librarians are Ishmam Biswas, Flynn Knight, Flynn Peters and Sakthi Prabhu and a few more are in training. The volunteer team is ably led by Daniel Maas who is our Head Student Librarian.

Our guitars are proving very popular this term and we are enjoying the new computer layout on the Non-fiction side – where we can now see all the computer screens.
