Huge congratulations to the young men who have been selected for international teams and groups during 2024. It is fantastic to see your determination, dedication and hard work rewarded.

Congratulations to Toby Gaffaney who has been selected in the New Zealand Youth Muaythai Blackgloves Team to compete at the IFMA Youth World Amateur Muaythai Championship in Bangkok in September.

Congratulations to Joseph Ratcliffe who has been selected in the U17 AWA AOTEAROA Māori Rugby League squad to compete in the New Zealand Māori Rugby League National Tournament.

Congratulations to Nicolas Verry who has been selected in the New Zealand Youth Team to attend the World Angus Forum in Australia in 2025. Team members need to be aged between 18 and 25 and Nicolas is the only school student selected for the New Zealand team.

Congratulations to Mike Sung who has been selected in the NZSO National Youth Orchestra, his second year in this orchestra. This Orchestra is for musicians aged under 25 and Mike is one of three clarinets selected. The orchestra will rehearse early July before performing in concert at the Michael Fowler Centre (Wellington) on the 5th of July and Regent in Palmy on the 6th of July.

Congratulations to Lucas Mildenhall who has been selected to tour with the 2024 New Zealand Māori Basketball team heading to the Native American Invitational Basketball tournament in Phoenix, Arizona later this year.

Congratulations to Year 11 student Alex Sharpe who has been selected in the New Zealand Junior (U21) Smallbore Shooting team.

Congratulations to Saem Millward, Jesse Wallace and Armani Whitehead-Wilson who have been selected for the New Zealand Secondary Students' Choir.  The NZSS Choir is a two-year commitment with 2024 being the second year for these young men.  Saem, Jesse and Armani will be joined in the choir by 2023 Year 13 student Josh Webster.

Congratulations and good luck to Cooper Mollet who has been selected in the New Zealand Katipō 18 Ten Pin Bowling team to compete at the 2024 President's Shield in Australia. The President's Shield competition is in April 2024 in the Sunshine Coast in Australia.

Congratulations to 2023 Dux Ludorum Matt Rowe who was selected in the New Zealand U19 Cricket team that competed in the U19 Cricket World Cup in South Africa in January.
