Recently 94 PNBHS athletes combined for a total of 150 entries into 43 events at the Manawatu Inter Secondary Schools Athletics Championships, achieving some outstanding results:
30 - first placings
27 - second placings
26 - third placings
The following athletes were multiple event winners:
Reuben Rose won the Junior Boys 80m Hurdles and Triple Jump
Filip Martin won the Junior Boys Javelin, 800m, and 1500m
William Donaldson won the AWD Boys 100m and 200m
Nehemiah Su'a won the Open 300m Hurdles, and the Intermediate Boys Shotput and Discus
Jonathan Jamieson won the Senior Boys 1500m and 3000m
The 4x100m teams completed a clean sweep of the relays winning the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior grades.

Subsequent to MISSA we were informed that 25 PNBHS athletes have been selected for the Manawatū team to compete at the upcoming North Island Secondary Schools Athletics championship to be held at the Massey University Community Track, on April 1-2. Good luck to these young men:
