Jonty Giesen Makes New Zealand U15 Tennis Team

Congratulations to Year 11 student Jonty Giesen who has been selected in the New Zealand U15 Tennis team to compete in Australia.  His first tournament has just finished and the New Zealand team came third after a number of rain disruptions meant that the full draw was unable to be played. Jonty was in good form, playing all ties and winning three out of four singles, with his only loss being a three-set/ almost three-hour match. His good form continued in the doubles, with his only loss again being a three-setter. He has now navigated his way to Brisbane for an ITF tournament and we wish him all the best for this.
