Leo Mwape Wins Tohu Auahatanga Award at the Race Unity Speech Finals

Congratulations to Year 11 student Leo Mwape who was awarded the Tohu Auahatanga award for delivery at the Race Unity speech finals in Auckland.  The competition finals took place over Matariki weekend and began with a day of semi-finals on which all 21 regional winners from throughout New Zealand presented their speeches.  From this six finalists were selected to present their speeches in the finals the following day.  Leo was the youngest orator selected to contest the competition finals where his outstanding presentation was recognised with the Tohu Auahatanga award.
