As young men finish each book during the year, they should talk to their English teacher or one of the librarians to have it recorded. Books you have already read can be added to your reading total retrospectively.

The victim statements shared at the sentencing of the Christchurch mosque shooter this week made for harrowing reading, but also highlighted the strength of character of the victims and their families.

The Music Department held the School Concert again last Friday - during school time without an audience in order to meet Alert level 2 restrictions - so we could record the amazing performances for our young men, parents and supporters.
This week junior students had the opportunity to attend the Science Roadshow.
It was great for our students to be able to continue playing Friday Night Social Basketball under the 'new normal' level 2 conditions without spectators. Many thanks to Basketball Manawatu for their ongoing commitment to ensure Basketball continues for secondary school students in Manawatu.
The Palmerstonian is our annual school magazine. It collates reports from academic, cultural and sporting activities that take place throughout the school year and as such is a much sought-after memento for many young men and their families.
While Alert Level restrictions and COVID have meant that the traditional secondary school winter tournament week won’t be happening this year, we are looking forward to following the fortunes of the sports teams that we have competing at various venues around the North Island.
