Our 2022 Student Leaders were announced at the Year 12 Awards presentation.
In a change from previous years, we announced our first Prefects for 2022. Congratulations to Liam Edmunds and Daniel McDougall.
In a further change from previous years, two young men were selected for the position of Deputy Head Prefect.
The first named Deputy Head Prefect for 2022 is Aadesh Ganugapati:
- A member of the Accelerate Programme
- A member of the 1st XI Cricket and 1st XI Football teams
- The recipient of the Greg Malcolm Memorial Trophy for Most improved player and the Hewer Trophy for best bowling performance for the 1st XI Cricket team and the RAS Trophy for Best Midfield Player for the 1st XI Football team
- The 1st XI Football team’s MVP at their Super Eight tournament
- The recipient of the Hodder Brother’s Cup for Outstanding Academic and Sporting Pursuits by a Senior Student
- A Barrowclough Award Badge recipient
The second named Deputy Head Prefect for 2022 is Mathew Jamieson:
- A member of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School Cycling team
- Was selected to be one of eight representatives nationally on the Cycling New Zealand Schools’ Focus Group and subsequently elected to be the group’s representative on the Cycling New Zealand governing board
- The recipient of the PNBHS Cup for Cycle and Academic Excellence
- First in Level 2 High-Performance Sport
- A Barrowclough Award Badge recipient
- The 2022 College House Deputy Head Boy
The 2022 Head Prefect Telson Liuvaie is:
- A member of the Accelerate Programme
- The recipient of an Otago University Ambition Programme Scholarship
- A member of the 1st XV Rugby team
- A member of the PNBHS Pasifika Club
- A Barrowclough Award Badge recipient
