Barrowclough Award and Service Award Presentations by PNBHS

Gold Barrowclough and Service Award Presentations

The Barrowclough Programme was launched in 2009 and named after a prestigious Old Boy, Sir Harold Barrowclough.

Since then, the programme has undergone several adjustments; however, the core intention of promoting the school’s vision to ‘Develop Educated Men of Outstanding Character’ through civic, personal and school service - has not changed.

The Barrowclough Award recognises young men in the senior school who fully immerse themselves in school life and display a positive attitude in all they do.

Congratulations to all of young men whose positive involvement in school life was recognised at a recent awards presentation.

Student Volunteer Army (SVA) Community Service Award Recipients

A core component of our Character Education programme at PNBHS involves volunteering. To assist with this, we encourage all young men to sign up for the SVA (Student Volunteer Army) Service Award.

Since the 2018 introduction of the SVA Service Award, several students have been awarded for participating in this programme.

Recently, Finn Caske, John Hopcroft and Nathaniel Zhang were presented with their SVA Service Certificates, acknowledging the volunteer service hours they have given throughout their years at PNBHS.
