Secondary Schools Canoe Polo National Competition

In Term One the Secondary Schools Canoe Polo National Competition was held in Hawkes Bay. After the competition, the results were reported in assembly, but unfortunately, the medals for the teams only arrived last week.

Three teams represented PNBHS at this competition. Senior A in division one, Senior B in division two, and Junior A in the junior open division.

The final results were: Junior A - 4th

Senior B finished 3rd in Division two, winning their 3-4th playoff 8-3 against Napier Boys’ High School. Senior B Team William Broderick, Arthur George, Jonathan Orr, Alec Ross, Matt Shaw, Eugene Stassen and Corey Stewart.

Senior A finished 2nd in Division one, losing in the final to last year’s champions; St Peter's College. Senior A Team Alex Anderson, Ryan Bennett, Cameron Gemmell, Tom Hawinkels, Reuben Houlahan, Liam McEwan, Logan Mitchell, Ben Pettersson.
