The Manawatū/Horowhenua Ngā Manu Kōrero Speech competition was held earlier this term at Queen Elizabeth College.


The Manawatū/Horowhenua Ngā Manu Kōrero Speech competition was held earlier this term at Queen Elizabeth College. 

Congratulations to Maioha Taiepa, who placed 3rd in the Senior Te Reo Māori section, Hemi Pinfold-Whanga, who was placed 2nd in the Senior English section and Zinzan Dean-Emery who placed 2nd in the Junior English section. Thank you to Mrs Power, Mrs Ruwhiu and Mr Strickland for their efforts in preparing the speakers and to the PNBHS kapa haka for their support of the speakers.

Maioha, Hemi and Zinzan were presented with their certificates at assembly on Thursday 17th June.
