22 teams battled through tough conditions to play in the Annual Old Boys' Golf Day.

In typical Palmerston North fashion, the Old Boys' Golf Day was greeted with heavy rain, wind and sunshine! The terrible weather did not deter our keen golfers, as 22 teams battled through tough weather conditions and were rewarded with sunshine later in the afternoon. 

Whether it was watching the Manawatu Golf Club 'pet' Falcon, toy with our fellow golfers; or watching some horrific shots to get out of a bunker, it was a day filled with entertainment. A big thank you to all teams that  participated, it was great to see so many old boys and friends of the school making the most of the day. 

Congratulations to team 'ROID' who were the overall winners of the day. The team consisted of Owen Greig, Ian Robinson, Craig Purdy and Rob Mainwaring. 

A special thank you to Mad Butcher, Morgan Laurenson & McDonald's Palmerston North for their support with the event BBQ. Also to Ewan Westergaard for giving up his Sunday and supervising the Mulligan activity, thank you for donating the profits to Old Boys and to Craigs Investments for their support with providing prizes.

Proceeds went towards the next major campaign which is the development of a new Hockey Turf and Old Boys' Pavillion that will likely begin in 2022. $1,000 was also donated to the PNBHS Touch and Sevens team for their trip to Nationals in December.
