Music Success for Arahan Pilkington

Congratulations to Year 13 student Arahan Pilkington who competed successfully at the Central Districts Brass Solo and Ensemble competition earlier this term. Arahan won both the U19 Slow Melody and Air Varie competitions against strong competition. He will now compete in the national competition in July. Arahan is a member of the Feilding Brass Band and we were fortunate to have him play the Last Post and Reveille at our recent Anzac Service.

At the New Zealand Super Eight Schools Cultural Festival Arahan competed in the Senior Music Solo competition where he placed second.
