Fire and Emergency New Zealand

Fire and Emergency New Zealand are currently seeking applications from anyone interested in becoming a casual staff member to work at the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Equipment and Logistics Service Centre located on Tremaine Avenue in Palmerston North.  A full class 1 drivers licence and a clean Police Vetting report (carried out as part of the recruitment process) are required.

The work can be quite physical as it involves cleaning, testing and make-up of the various hose sizes that Fire and Emergency currently uses, plus other duties as required.  Full training will be conducted on site.

For those with a suitable mechanical background, we also carry out mechanical servicing, repairs and testing of portable pumps and would be happy to hear from anyone who is interested in being part of the casual workforce supporting this work.

We are open Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4.00pm and we are able to be flexible within these times to accommodate our people.
