Manawatū Inter Secondary Schools Athletics Championships (MISSA)

On Friday the 8th of March, Boys’ High was well represented by a large team of 99 athletes competing at the Manawatū Inter Secondary Schools Athletics (MISSA) Championships. The Boys’ High team combined for 162 entries contesting 45 events. The team achieved 28 first placings, 26 second placings, and 27 third placings.

The following athletes were multiple individual event winners:

Kailahi Blake won the Junior Boys 100m and 200m.

Jacob Hassan won the Junior Boys 400m, 800m, and High Jump.

Will Hogan won the Junior Boys 80m Hurdles and Discus.

Bradley Tocker won the Senior Boys 100m and Discus.

The 4x100m teams completed a clean sweep of the relays in the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior grades.
