Future Legends Scholarship Winner
PNBHS Year 13 student John Hopcroft was the winner of Round 1 of the MTF Finance Future Legends Scholarship in the academic and entrepreneurship category.
Last year’s Covid-19 lockdown gave many people the time and opportunity to try new things. For John Hopcroft it was a chance to build a global, online debating platform from scratch. The Cosmos Championship now has more than 5,000 registered users in 108 countries around the world making it one of the most wide-reaching international debating competitions. The MTF Future Legends Scholarship provided John with $5,000 which he will reinvest in the Cosmos Championship for software development and marketing.
