Senior Joinery Students

Term III has been exciting for our seniors – as they have seen the introduction of a computer aided CNC router added to all course projects.

Our Year 13 joinery students have set the gold standard through their student-led rocking chair focus. All students prototyped this concept. They then went on to further make adjustments for functionality, ergonomics and aesthetics. Initially, the class worked together to process the loose components, then broke off to individualise their project. The newly minted CNC was then utilised to personalise their projects and add personal touches.

It has been great to see the young men work together to produce work of an outstanding quality.
