Our Old Boys are a very important part of our school community and we love sharing their news and achievements to show our current students what those who have gone before them have gone on to achieve.
Our Old Boys are a very important part of our school community and we love sharing their news and achievements to show our current students what those who have gone before them have gone on to achieve.
Recently 44 young men from the PNBHS Young Farmers group - 11 teams of four - competed in an Agri Sports competition against Feilding High School.
Congratlations to the junior team of Alex Baylis, Lucas Taylor, Nicolas Verry and Jamie Bennett, who finished first equal in the junior competition.
Congratulations also to the senior team of Aaron Christensen, Remy Early, Quinn Gledhill and Hunta Gledhill, who placed second in the senior division.
The activities included: grading wool, assembling a handpiece, calculating a mortgage, calibrating a drench gun, brushing a horse, putting a water pipe together, safety checking a quad bike, seed selection and various farming theory challenges.
The afternoon included an Agri-Olympics with wool sack races, egg throwing, tractor pulling and wheelbarrow races.
A huge thank you to Feilding High School for organising this opportunity.
